Yonggung Sundae 용궁순대

A century-old restaurant in Yonggung-myeon, Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk, specializing in sundae (Korean blood sausage) and sundae-gukbap. The sundae is chewy with a well-packed filling, and the makchang sundae is rich in umami without any off-flavors. The gukbap broth is deeply savory and clean, working well as a hangover cure. The spicy grilled squid bulgogi is another signature, featuring plump squid in a fiery, wok-charred sauce. Grilled pork bulgogi and chicken feet are also available. The renovated space is clean and staff are welcoming. Nearby Hoelyongpo Overlook makes for a good weekend outing combined with a meal here.
