The flagship restaurant of Won Halmeoni Bossam, a brand with 50 years of history dating back to 1975, located in the Hwanghak-dong area near Sindang Station in Seoul's Jung-gu district. Following a relocation due to neighborhood redevelopment, the restaurant underwent a major renovation that transformed it into a modern, upscale dining space, a striking departure from the franchise's traditionally humble image. The interior is spacious with a clean, contemporary design, and wine is served alongside the Korean menu. The signature bossam features silky, tender pork that pairs beautifully with the house-made bossam kimchi, which carries a distinctively sweet, rich flavor. Beyond bossam, the menu spans cold jokbal (pig's feet), direct-flame stir-fried nakji (octopus), Yeosu-style grilled croaker, and other dishes that blend legacy items with newer additions for a full-course Korean dining experience. The gamasot-bap bossam bansang (16,000 won) offers a tidy single-person set with stone-pot rice, jangjorim, and jeotgal. Private rooms accommodate group dining, and the setting works well for hosting foreign guests. Orders are placed via kiosk with payment at the counter, and Catch Table manages waitlists during busy periods. The location near Cheonggyecheon stream makes it convenient to combine dinner with a post-meal walk along the waterway.
