A restaurant with a similar name sits at the main-road turnoff on Anmyeondo; the one that has served marinated crab and ge-gukji since 1981 is about 100 meters further in, following the signs. If ge-gukji is new to you, think of a blue crab stew cooked with aged kimchi. The set meal adds ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab), yangnyeom gejang (spicy marinated crab) and saeujang (soy-marinated shrimp), and of these the soy crab stands out for being mild in salt, letting the sweetness of the meat through.
