Hanwoo beef grills inside a hanok-style dining room that looks out on a tended garden near Gyeongbokgung Station. The galbi-sal assortment runs through galbi-sal, tosi-sal, jebichuri and kkot-galbi-sal before finishing with anchang-sal, each cut with its own grain and fat. Sagol tteokguk, rice cake soup in long-simmered bone broth, is the standout meal dish. Noonkkot galbi, yangnyeom saeng-galbi (marinated fresh rib) and a yukhoe that tastes nuttier than most round out the menu. A T-bone is sometimes grilled outside the front.
