Sobakhan Bapsang 소박한밥상

Bori-gulbi, barley-dried yellow croaker, comes to the table already picked off the bone, with no pins left to hunt for. The lotus-leaf rice set spreads out a long row of lightly seasoned side dishes, the standout being a japchae made with thin strips of burdock root instead of glass noodles. The restaurant sits in a remote corner of Inji-myeon in Seosan and has only a few tables, and anyone stopping on the way to Taean should book ahead.
