Situated right by Gongdeok Station, this modern Korean gastropub pairs elevated hansik with a serious drinks program. The mineogeon (croaker fish jeon) blew me away - crispy outside, impossibly tender inside, enough to convert even non-seafood eaters. The bossam came plated beautifully with thick slices of pork and multiple varieties of kimchi. The Seoul-style bulgogi is cooked tableside on a Blue Star burner with broth, and the kimchi-mari guksu (kimchi noodle soup) made a refreshing, sweet-and-cool finish. A major draw is the corkage-free policy, which means you can bring your own wine or whisky and they will even serve it in proper branded glassware. The dim, refined atmosphere makes it ideal for a date or an intimate team dinner.
