Rich rose sauce, made from cream and tomato, gets a salty kick from pollock roe in the myeongran rose panne, served in a bread bowl capped with baked dough. Tearing off the bread and dragging it through the sauce gives both crisp and soaked bites. The restaurant spreads over several spacious floors, so a birthday or family meal can run on into tiramisu and coffee without moving. Among the wood-fired pizzas, the tuna-topped one is lighter than meat pies, and the pickles cut through the cream with their acidity. Windows at the Jongchon branch look onto riverside trees and a walking path, and child-size cutlery and high chairs are provided. The basement parking is very tight, and the nearby public lot is the easier option.
