Pansion is a brunch cafe overlooking Daecheong Lake, serving dishes such as crab pasta and pizza. The food itself is decent rather than exceptional, but paired with the sweeping lake view it becomes a pleasant half-day outing. Cream cheese garlic bread is a standout from the bakery selection, while coffee is average and the latte leans more milk than espresso. More than ten semi-feral cats roam the outdoor seating area, adding charm, though they can be persistent about food and combine with summer insects to distract from the meal. The narrow, winding access road is challenging for inexperienced drivers, and parking fills quickly on weekends, so weekday visits are recommended. After eating, a short walking trail below the cafe makes for a comfortable stroll. Cherry blossom season reportedly transforms the approach road into a striking corridor of blooms.
