Inside Ongpo-ri village, a four-table room cooks just five dishes: one risotto, two pastas, a pork cutlet and a pizza. The abalone gewe risotto melts the nutty abalone innards into cream and tops it with lightly torched abalone and roasted kabocha squash. The spicy Shanghai pasta is the one to set beside it; the hijiki cream pasta would leave two cream plates on the table. The kitchen closes early once ingredients run out.
