Ollae Guksu 올래국수

I arrived at 1:20 PM and braved a short 30-minute queue outside this famous spot. The menu is strictly limited to one item: Gogi Guksu (pork noodles) for 10,000 won. Within exactly one minute of sitting down, a steaming bowl arrived. The clear pork broth completely surprised me-it is light, much like a refined seolleongtang, yet deeply savory with absolutely no funky odor. The bowl is loaded with exceptionally tender, thick-cut pork slices resting on a massive portion of thick jungmyeon noodles. Mix in the red pepper flakes at the bottom for an extra kick. Be incredibly careful with the raw green peppers served on the side, as they are fiery Cheongyang peppers. Park at the nearby paid lot and tell the owner to get a 1,000 won discount.
