Bakga Samgeori Budae-jjigae (주)박가삼거리부대찌개

Budae-jjigae (army stew) is effectively the only dish, so you sit down, say how many are eating, and the pot goes on. Crown daisy and a heap of scallions make it vegetable-forward, and instead of cheese or pepperoni there are chunky bits of ground meat and small morning sausages. The first spoonful is thin enough to make you wonder, but as it boils down the ham comes through and the broth deepens. It has been in Munsan for over 50 years and holds the Baengnyeon Gage (century store) designation.
