Located at 31 Aewol-ro 19-gil, Aewol-eup, this eatery focuses on handmade dumplings, a relatively uncommon specialty on the island. The signature seafood dumpling hot pot uses a base of bone broth simmered for hours in a traditional iron pot. As the soup boils, it develops a clear, savory profile similar to crab stew. Each pot includes four types of dumplings stuffed with black pork, kimchi, octopus, and abalone. These dumplings feature very thin wrappers, emphasizing the generous fillings. Various seafood, including mantis shrimp, adds texture to the broth. The meal typically follows a specific sequence: consuming the dumplings and seafood first, followed by kalguksu noodles, and finishing with porridge that absorbs the remaining liquid. While a mushroom version exists, it offers a lighter profile compared to the seafood variant. Solo visitors can opt for the abalone dumpling soup priced at 14,000 KRW, while the hot pot costs approximately 28,000 KRW per person.
