The tomato haejang pasta, named after haejangguk, a style of Korean soup, comes out over a flame and stays hot to the last forkful, and the abalone risotto leaves a long savory finish. On cold, windy days a heater gets set up beside the table, and out front a stand of camellia trees lives up to the name East Forest.
