Dugasi's Kitchen 두가시의부엌

Dugasi is Jeju dialect for a married couple, and true to the name, a husband and wife run this small place and cook only one dish: galchi-jorim, braised hairtail. The sauce is gentle and the fish comes in big pieces, but the thing nearly every visitor brings up is the fernbrake. Ordering extra of the soft fernbrake makes the pot noticeably fuller. The owners show you how to mix rice into the leftover sauce and lay the fish on top. Reservations are taken by phone.
