Tokyo Udon 동경우동

The shrimp tempura in the tempura udon is not meant to stay crisp: its thick batter soaks up the anchovy broth. Noodles are chewy, and kkakdugi radish kimchi, yellow pickled radish and pickles come alongside. The curry udon combo pairs a bowl of udon with homestyle curry rice full of large vegetable chunks, a filling lunch. Open since 1986 near Exit 8 of Euljiro 3-ga Station, the shop has only counter seats, window seats and two tables, which suits solo diners. Orders are taken at the table and paid at the counter on the way out, cards accepted.
