Under a heap of garlic chives sits the house specialty near Yeongdeungpo Station: sokkori-jjim, oxtail in a soy-based sauce. Pull the meat off the bones, then mix a portion of noodles into the leftover sauce and chives; each diner also gets a bowl of seolleongtang broth with the oxtail. The seolleongtang itself, a milky ox-bone soup, comes regular or special, the latter with more beef and thin wheat noodles, and you season it at the table with salt and pepper. The building is old and dim inside, with both chair and floor seating. Evenings fill with oxtail and soju tables.
