Bong Sushi 봉스시

Scorched rice lines the bottom of the udon bowl, and dropping the shrimp tempura that comes alongside into the broth lets the batter soak it up. Bar seats face the open kitchen, and lunchtime brings a short wait. The sushi set pairs eight pieces of nigiri with tempura and a choice of udon, cold soba or warm soba, while the lunch set trims the sushi to four. Hoedeopbap is a different idea, with chopped raw fish, vegetables and rice mixed together with sauce in one bowl.
