Coffee is roasted on the ground floor of this dark-green two-story building on the lane from Nakwon Arcade into Insa-dong. The signature Alto White layers single-origin espresso over cold organic milk, keeping the nutty, gently acidic coffee in front. Hand-drip coffee is brewed in four set rounds a day, with beans changing by origin and process, and the specialty espresso uses a monthly single bean pulled as a triple ristretto. Upstairs, a few tables and a big window look down on Insa-dong while classical music plays; there are outdoor seats too. Beans, drip bags and coffee steeping bags are sold to take home.
