ACR - Alegria Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee bar on the first floor of K-Square City Dadong at 24 Cheonggyecheon-ro in Jung-gu, Seoul. Alegria means joy in Spanish, and the roasting company behind the bar was founded in the spring of 2011. It sources newly harvested green coffee each year and applies a structured roasting and quality-control system before the beans reach its own coffee bars and wholesale partners. Jungle Espresso is one of the two principal house blends. The roaster describes it through soft nut aromas, milk-chocolate sweetness, and an even balance. Mary Jane is the second house blend, built around the acidity of red berries and a syrup-like sweetness. Both can be used for espresso and milk drinks, and the beans are also sold separately. The bar prepares hand-drip coffee and iced latte in addition to its espresso menu. Cafe con helado combines vanilla ice cream and latte in one glass, while Alegria milk tea, brewed tea, and scones cover part of the non-coffee and food selection. The cafe entrance sits toward the rear of the office building rather than on the main facade. Inside, a wall of large windows opens the room visually to the outside. Individual window seats provide a different arrangement from the two-person tables placed farther inside. Cups, brewing goods, and other branded objects introduced through the company's visual renewal are displayed in the same room. Jungle Espresso beans are also supplied to cafes and franchise businesses around Korea. In 2019, the company obtained ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management.
