Yetnal Patjuk 옛날팥죽

It sits inside Seongeup Folk Village, reached across a yard lined with soy crocks. Saeal patjuk, red bean porridge with glutinous rice balls, is only served for two or more, and solo diners end up with pat-kalguksu, red bean soup with noodles. The porridge is thick and full of chewy rice balls, and the salt and brown sugar on the table go in a little at a time. The place is known for red beans, yet the sirak-gukbap, rice in a savory doenjang broth with dried radish greens, holds its own.
