I had the Kamidong special set at Sushidoku Kamidong, right outside Wangsimni Station exit 9. The bowl was piled high with thick slices of salmon, tuna, and white fish, with flying fish roe popping with every bite. Every piece of sashimi was strikingly fresh with no fishiness, and wrapping it in seaweed made each mouthful feel luxuriously full. The set includes tempura and soba, and set menus come discounted by 10 to 20 percent, keeping prices reasonable. The hitsumabushi eel bowl melted on my tongue and is another strong recommendation. I won a grilled crab shell from their lucky draw event, and even the freebie was outstanding quality. The clean interior and private rooms make it suitable for group dinners or family gatherings.
