La Cantina 라 칸티나

The Samsung Building's first basement in Euljiro holds a dining room that has kept its dim lighting, old-fashioned decor and long-serving male waiters since it opened in 1966. The vongole comes in a generous pool of broth with plenty of clam meat and a sprinkle of chili flakes, eating more like Korean clam kalguksu than Italian pasta, and freshly baked garlic bread goes well with wine. Weekday lunches fill with reservations.
