Old Mullae is a craft beer pub housed in a converted ironworks building within the Mullae Creative Village in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The soaring ceilings and open floor plan are complemented by photographs of old Mullae-dong and an actual factory lathe displayed as part of the interior, creating an atmosphere that blends industrial heritage with contemporary drinking culture. The lighting is calibrated for photographs, making the space a well-known spot for capturing impressive shots, and its appeal as a date venue is equally strong. The beer list spans lagers, IPAs, ales, and fruit beers, with tasting flights available. The Dongne Chingu craft lager offers crisp refreshment, while the Galmaegi Caramel Amber Ale opens with a caramel nose and settles into a weighty, lingering bitterness on the palate — a beer with genuine character. Food is mandatory with every order. The burrata green pizza is the flagship dish, pairing prosciutto and arugula effectively, and the platters are generously assembled relative to their price. Coffee options, including an ice cream latte, are available during daytime hours when the venue operates as a cafe. Soju is not served; only beer is poured. Tables are spaced generously for comfortable conversation, but evenings and weekends reliably produce a queue. Weekday daytime visits offer the most relaxed experience. Restrooms are in a separate building across from the entrance but are kept clean and well-maintained. Among the cluster of fashionable establishments in the Mullae-dong area, Old Mullae consistently commands the highest foot traffic.
