A converted house at the far edge of Yeonnam-dong holds an American-style brunch kitchen, with seating split across a basement, the ground floor and an outdoor terrace. There is no parking; walk in along the Gyeongui Line Forest Park or use a nearby public lot. Kimchi fried rice is the house signature: rice crisped slightly against the pan, topped with meat and cheese. The Hippo pancake plate pairs moderately sweet French toast with sausages, and the steak salad, studded with chewy gnocchi, eats like a full meal. Basil cream paccheri keeps both the basil and the cream light. Chefs who came from a Michelin restaurant run the kitchen, and dogs are welcome.
