Geuriun Boribap 그리운보리밥

The grilled mackerel and thick rolled omelet look like add-ons but come with the basic set, so there is no need to order them. A basket of Gangwon mountain greens is spooned over barley rice and mixed, with cheonggukjang or doenjang stew added a spoonful at a time. Everything except the mackerel and omelet can be refilled, and warm sungnyung, a toasted-rice drink, comes in place of water. If the doenjang stew wins you over, the paste itself is sold at the counter, and a glass of sikhye ends the meal.
