Despite the name, the bokkeummyeon (stir-fried noodles) here comes in a bowl with broth, carrying wok smoke and a hint of beef-bone stock. Seafood and vegetables seem to outnumber the noodles, and the heat is moderate. Ganjajang arrives with finely chopped black-bean sauce heaped in a large bowl, and the samseon fried rice gets more jjajang sauce on request. The jjamppong is milder and cleaner than fiery. Arrive before lunch and each table gets complimentary fried dumplings, while tangsuyuk is discounted at lunch. The lot out front holds about 10 cars and fills at noon; the restaurant, near Eonyang Eupseong fortress, closes on Mondays.
