Born & Bred 본앤브레드

Majang-dong is Seoul's wholesale meat district, yet Born & Bred looks and feels like a fine-dining restaurant, with a different format on each floor: casual plates at street level, a cut-by-cut barbecue room on the second floor, private-room courses on the third, and the priciest Hanwoo omakase in the basement. In the courses a dedicated server grills every cut, which leaves the table free to talk; the tenderloin is the standout and suits whisky or soju equally. Seatings are limited to two hours. Meals end with rice noodles or pot rice, and corkage is waived for one bottle of wine.
