Beer is brewed on site at this Gongneung-dong brewhouse and poured straight from the taps. Vienna Lager runs deep and malty, Juicy Hop Bam IPA leans fruity, and Freya is crisp and fizzy, so the lineup rewards ordering several glasses side by side. Seasonal releases such as Cotton Candy IPA come and go, and Dodamdodam and Note are two more of the house brews. Toasted barley arrives as the free bar snack, now also in a spicy version. The thin-crust Original Pizza and a cold salad of grilled white fish, shrimp and whole barley are built for the beer, while seafood stew with scorched rice and pineapple kimchi fried rice turn a round of drinks into dinner. The hall is large enough for family celebrations.
