Banghwa-dong Gyodong Jjamppong 방화동 교동짬뽕

Stir-fried over high heat, the pork, seafood and bean sprouts in the bul-jjamppong (fiery seafood noodle soup) give the red broth a smoky depth while keeping the finish clean. Jjajangmyeon, noodles in black bean sauce, is balanced rather than salty or sweet, and it pairs well with the jjamppong when two people share one of each. The tangsuyuk leans toward the thick, chewy guobaorou style.
