Wonpyeong Jipyeongseon Cheongbori Hanuchon has a nationwide reputation for its hanwoo beef tartare bibimbap despite its rural location in Geumsan-myeon, Gimje. Located on the road to Geumsansa Temple, the restaurant sees constant crowds with the parking lot frequently overflowing onto roadsides. On weekends, the wait list often reaches 100 people. The signature dish features fresh vegetables topped with raw beef dressed in gochujang, characterized by a fragrant sesame oil scent. Unlike typical chewy beef tartare, the meat here has a soft, melting texture. The regular portion at 12,000 won is substantial, while the special version for 15,000 won increases the meat quantity. Cooked bibimbap serves as an alternative for heated meals. The soy-braised beef among the side dishes is popular, appreciated for its tenderness and available for unlimited self-service. The menu also includes a clean beef bone soup (gomtang) and grilled cuts like salchisal. Complimentary coffee is provided after the meal. The establishment operates from 11:00 to 21:00, observing a break from 15:00 to 16:00. It is closed every Wednesday. Arriving before noon often allows for immediate seating.
