Positioned at the entrance to Majangho Lake in Yangju, this enormous cafe is designed around a botanical garden concept. The first floor alone spans about 600 pyeong and is filled with so many tropical plants and trees that stepping inside feels more like entering a greenhouse conservatory than a coffee shop. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls frame a view of the lake outside, creating a wonderfully open atmosphere, and the standard of plant care throughout the space was genuinely impressive. The coffee itself was decent, and the butter-and-red-bean bread along with the croissants were enjoyable. The cakes lean quite sweet, so sharing a slice might be the better approach. Prices start at 8,000 won for an Americano, which is on the higher end, but considering the maintenance costs of running what amounts to a living botanical garden, it makes sense. The lakeside seating area does not allow pets, while the greenhouse section welcomes visitors with their dogs.
