Oneul Bakery is a large bakery cafe at the foot of Bukhansan in Deokyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, defined by two artificial waterfalls and generous outdoor grounds. Positioned just past the Bukhansan National Park entrance near Baegundae, the setting places guests among trees and moving water while they enjoy fresh bread and coffee. The main building, with its rustic stone-wall exterior, houses a gallery-like interior with displayed artwork, while the outdoor area features cascading waterfalls, sculptures, and benches set among seasonal foliage. Autumn brings vivid leaves framing the seating areas, and in winter a fire pit offers a chance to sit and watch the flames. Spring and fall are the ideal seasons to visit, as summer heat makes the outdoor space less comfortable. Bread is baked on-site in a rotating selection, though the display area is modest in size and popular items sell out by evening. The coffee carries a pleasant toasty quality - solid rather than exceptional - while the babamba latte leans sweet. Traditional drinks such as ssanghwa-cha make the menu welcoming for older visitors as well. Americano refills are offered, but they are suspended on weekends and holidays between 1 PM and 5 PM. A one-drink-per-person policy applies. Parking spans three separate zones and is ample by default, but during peak hours the sheer volume of visitors can exhaust even that capacity. The location is difficult to reach without a car, and since the entrance and exit share a single narrow access road, congestion during busy periods can make maneuvering slow. Outside of the quieter winter months, the cafe draws a steady crowd year-round.
