Fried rice comes out with every grain loose and separate, the dish the Gongdeok kitchen is best known for, and a spicy crab version is on the menu too. Har gow and xiaolongbao lead the dim sum, tangsuyuk has a clean, crisp batter, and samseon jjamppong carries plenty of seafood. Beef jajangmyeon uses thin noodles and a dark, notably sweet sauce. Each diner gets peanuts and zha cai at the start, and yogurt or a ripe persimmon at the end. Private rooms require ordering at least the per-person course price, and course dishes can be swapped to work around allergies such as shrimp.
