Haemul-patwi (fried seafood pancake) is considered an essential companion order, generously packed with seafood that provides excellent chewing texture beneath a crispy fried exterior. Acorn jelly (10,000 won) serves as a popular side, and the fried mandu are large and best enjoyed immediately while hot for their nutty aroma. Fresh white kimchi and kkakdugi come as standard accompaniments.
