Geummundo 금문도

An ethnic Chinese chef runs the kitchen, and the menu is wide. Sichuan-style jjajang and ulmyeon, dishes few Chinese-Korean places bother with, are on it, and off-menu cream shrimp is made on request. The room is decorated in Chinese style, with several private rooms. The gochu-jjamppong is heaped with chili flakes until the broth turns thick and properly hot; anyone who cannot handle that should go for the samseon jjamppong, a clear broth loaded with seafood. Seasoning is strong across the board and will taste salty to light eaters.
