Log pillars rising nearly to the ceiling, large plants, gravel, a small aquarium and a running water channel split the floor of this Gangseo café into separate seating pockets, like sitting inside a forest. Espresso layered with dense aged milk and cream makes the aged-milk café latte drink heavier than a standard latte. Americano is made with a choice of beans and goes with carrot-cheese or Earl Grey fig cookies. In winter the rooms fill with Christmas trees, gingerbread figures and a cookie-village display. Orders go in at a kiosk and buzzers are collected by the counter; the garden seating outside has clear tent walls and a heater.
