Chilgapsan Cheongjeong Hanwoo Town 칠갑산청정한우타운

Sealed packs of Hanwoo beef, labeled by grade, cut and weight, fill the refrigerated cases at the butcher counter by the door, and you pick your own and carry them to the charcoal grill at your table. Tables tend to take one pack each of ansim (tenderloin), tosisal (hanging tender) and neukgansal (rib finger meat) and share them around, while sticks of garaetteok rice cake, refilled freely, toast on the spare part of the grate. Cheongyang County, the Hwaseong Nonghyup cooperative and local cattle farmers opened the place together in 2013, and even the rice is Chilgap Maru Hyangjinju, grown in Cheongyang.
