Fist-sized meatballs sit in bakso, the Indonesian noodle soup that gives the Itaewon restaurant its name. Most of the staff, and many diners, are Indonesians living in Korea, and the room fills with them on Islamic holidays. The Komplit bowl combines meat and fish balls with a large rib and comes out bigger than its menu photo. Seasoning runs salty, and spices such as cilantro are cooked into the dishes and cannot be removed.
