Around 70 years old, this Pohang bakery has a remodeled, modern front, with a display floor below and a cafe upstairs for eating in. The chapssal-tteok (sweet rice cake) wraps finely ground red bean paste in a chewy rice skin with no gritty bean husk. The madeleines are thick, almost scone-like, and moist inside, and boxed sets travel well as gifts.
