Heian 헤이안

Coffee and pastries cost more here than at most places nearby, and much of that price is the second-floor glass. It takes in Yeongil Bay and the POSCO steelworks on the far shore, and on weekends those window seats are the first to go. Olive trees brought indoors give the rooms a Mediterranean-resort look, and the seating changes shape on each floor up to the fourth-floor rooftop. The almond cream latte and the Heian roll are the house signatures, and the breads are neither cloying nor greasy. Yeongildae Beach is within walking distance.
