Union Jacks, band posters and wood paneling fill the room, and British pop and rock play loud enough to set the whole mood. Billed as Korea's first British-style beer pub, the Itaewon spot serves fish and chips with crisp batter, moist white fish and fries. Cottage pie is the British dish that skips the fryer, and mac and cheese and pizza round out the drinking food. London Pride pours on draft alongside other British beers, wine, cocktails and highballs, and the butterbeer and pina colada are not overly sweet. Drink prices are low by Itaewon standards. The stools have no backrests, but the doors open in the daytime for anyone after an afternoon pint.
