Lattoreyo is a handmade gelato shop on Yeongrang Beach Road in Sokcho, where the owner personally crafts each flavor. Ssuk (mugwort) is the most popular - thick, rich, and intensely flavored. The potato gelato is topped with black pepper, delivering a mashed-potato-like savory twist. Pistachio is nutty and aromatic, kiwi offers a bright citrus cleanse, and the chocolate is deeply cocoa-rich without heaviness. A monaka wafer filled with potato gelato is also available. The small shop features a photogenic white-and-blue interior and sits close to the sea, perfect for a stroll with a scoop. Since the owner runs it solo, long lines can form when crowds arrive, so visiting during quieter hours is advisable.
