Set in a converted tangerine-farm warehouse, CoffeeTemple serves pour-over coffee and no desserts. Every bean on display can be smelled before ordering, which makes it easy to compare Kim Deuk-gu, with strawberry-like acidity and a spicy edge, against Guaranteed Future, a blend of Ethiopian, Indian and Colombian beans. Inside are small two-seat tables, but the yard has plenty of seating under citrus trees and a large spreading tree, and dogs are welcome. Staff call waiting guests by name. Beyond straight coffee, Orange Chiffon is a citrus-scented coffee drink and Milk Brew softens cold coffee with milk; the old signature tangerine coffee has been discontinued.
