From the top of the Naksan fortress wall trail, a long row of outdoor seats looks down over hillside homes toward downtown Dongdaemun. The climb along the wall from the Dongdaemun side takes about 20 minutes, and Ihwa-dong mural village lies just below. Sunsets and night lights are the draw, and beer suits the view as well as an Americano or decaf. Seats with the best view go fast, and parking is difficult. Indoors, old objects and ornaments gather like a small museum.
