The kids' zone, tucked away at the back, takes advance bookings only, and the deposit comes back as a coupon to spend in the cafe. While small children climb the jungle gym, parents sit at the tables or floor seats right beside it. The Fellows Room, away from the kids, has beanbags and stays quiet, and the second-floor window area sits under a glass roof that lets in greenhouse-like light. Bread is baked in house, including one topped with figs and a chewy pumpkin sesame bun.
