The rooms and wooden maru floor of a hanok, a traditional Korean house, in a Hwa-dong alley serve as the seating, split between floor rooms where shoes come off and regular tables. The signature patbingsu piles generous house-made red beans, only lightly sweet, over milk ice, then scatters chopped roasted jujube and ground almonds on top for sweetness and crunch. One bowl comfortably serves two. Jujube tea is simmered thick, and a fresh-cream croffle covers the baked side. The cafe appeared in the drama Goblin and is a short walk from the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul.
