Hollys Sokcho Yeongrang Beach is a multilevel cafe at 205 Yeongrang Haean 4-gil in Sokcho, directly across from Yeongrang Beach. Seating occupies the first and second floors, and a rooftop opens above them on the third level. The short distance between the building and shoreline keeps the horizon and moving water in view from much of the interior. Second-floor window seats provide the broadest framed outlook across the road to the sea. The first floor functions as a conventional cafe room close to the ordering area, while the second floor places more attention on the windows. Chairs and tables are arranged so sight lines tend to point toward the water rather than directly at neighboring seats. The rooftop removes the glass between the guest and the coast. In daylight it brings direct sun and sea wind, while after dark it presents a much less illuminated shoreline than the rooms below. These three levels offer distinct perspectives: convenience and indoor seating on the first floor, a wide horizontal sea view from the second-floor windows, and open sky above the rooftop. The menu follows the established Hollys format of coffee, tea, blended drinks, shaved ice, bread, and cake. Orders here have included patbingsu with sweet red beans, Black Aria coffee with noticeable acidity, and chestnut cheesecake. Patbingsu suits a table sharing one cold dessert while remaining by the window. Chestnut cheesecake provides a dense, sweet accompaniment to coffee, and the more acidic Black Aria gives a sharper contrast to rich cake. The drinks and bakery items retain a recognizable franchise style rather than trying to imitate a small independent roastery. The interior has the bright, orderly appearance of a relatively new facility, and the sea remains the visual center instead of decorative objects. The building also connects naturally with a walk along Yeongrang Beach or toward Lighthouse Beach. A walker can view the same coast at ground level outside, from behind a second-floor window, and from the exposed rooftop above. Even when the water is difficult to distinguish at night, the dark coast and sound of the shore give the upper levels a different character from a city cafe. The branch is defined less by a unique beverage recipe than by the way a standard coffee-and-dessert menu is distributed across three levels facing the sea.
