Rock cliffs and forest on the slope of Inwangsan rise behind the terraces, which look out over Namsan Tower, the roofs of Gyeongbokgung and central Seoul. Drinks and bread are ordered on the first floor, where books are also sold and small exhibitions are held. Bread runs from the red bean butter croissant to egg tarts and kaya jam viennoiserie, and the croissant sometimes sells out. Free parking fits only about 10 to 14 cars with an attendant's help and fills fast on weekends. Village bus Jongno 09 from Exit 3 of Gyeongbokgung Station, or a 15-minute walk up the trail from the Yun Dong-ju Literary Museum, is easier. Dogs are welcome.
