Banwol Soba 반월소바

This soba shop in a converted house serves portions big enough that no one needs the large size. The soba is chewy in a sweet tsuyu, and the spicy pork cutlet is thick, with a cheese-topped version too. The buckwheat crepe roll (memil jeonbyeong), ordered as a side, turns out to have the clearest flavor of the lot. Waits are long in summer and much shorter in winter.
