Green paint and warm wood stand out among the metal workshops of Mullae-dong, where a 2023 KCRC roasting competition winner runs this roastery. Every bean is roasted on-site, and staff walk customers through origins and tasting notes, sometimes pouring a sample of another coffee to try. Filter coffee carries the tasting notes printed on each bag clearly into the cup. The Einspanner pairs sweet cream with bitter coffee, and the piccolo, a small Australian-style latte, suits milk drinkers. Seasonal blends rotate, including Panama Geisha and strawberry, and whole beans are sold to take home. There is no restroom inside the cafe.
